What we offer

In Trade Development, we are focusing on import replacement and export promotion
  • With the application of trade instruments governed by the World Trade Organisation (WTO), as well as trade agreements more sustainable enterprises are developed over the longer term.
  • Various trade instruments such as tariffs (import duties) and safeguards, anti-dumping duties and countervailing duties could be applied to support a trade solution application to secure a market. The area of non-tariff barriers poses additional hurdles to secure markets but could also be to the detriment of outbound trade opportunities.
  • International Trade Matters to enhance trade such as FTA registration; Qualifying benefits under FTA arrangements; Preferred Trader and Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) Programme Registration.
